A full cooked breakfast is served between 8am and 9am.

A selection of traditional teas and herbal teas, or locally roasted 'Fair Trade' gourmet coffee from Kawatiri Coffee

Continental Breakfast Selection

A seasonal selection from the following items will be available.

Continental Selection Fresh fruit juice - orange, apple, grapefruit . Juice is freshly squeezed when in season.

A selection of cereals –homemade muesli, cornflakes, honey & corn, nutrigrain, granola, bran & sultana, weetbix, etc We also have a selection of gluten free cereals.

Freshly prepared locally grown fruit platter - strawberries & blueberries, kiwi fruit, raspberries & blackberries, honeydew melon, paw paw (papaya), mangoes, feijoas, tamarillos, nectarines, grilled grapefruit, black passion fruit, our own grapes

Homemade yogurt - strawberry, apricot & ginseng, passion fruit with feijoa and green tea.

Freshly made muffins - bran, chocolate, blueberry & lemon, banana, orange and walnut.

Homemade breads freshly baked each morning (a lovely smell to wake up to!)- kibbled wheat with pumpkin seed, oat bran with sunflower seeds, beer bread, wholemeal bread.

Toast – wholemeal/white, fruit bread, English Muffins and crumpets.

Homemade Jams and jellies - strawberry, blackberry, English marmalade, lime marmalade. Local Manuka or Black Beech Honey.

served warm straight from the oven.

Cooked Breakfast Selection


Eggs are collected daily from our free range hens and Guinea Fowl -they are delicious.They are particularly good simply boiled and served with toast soldiers.

Free-range coddled eggs - steamed in the coddler with cured bacon,grilled tomato and cheese

Fresh Herb Omelet filled with you choice of mushrooms, tomato, onion, bacon, gruyere cheese.

Whitebait caught locally on the little Totara – Served in the traditional West Coast fashion – Whitebait Patties. $10 surcharge per person.

Our bacon is smoked by our butcher in Runanga – nothing added. Mr Jones also makes the most fabulous sausages which we also have available.

Black Pudding made to a Jones family Scottish recipe.

French Toast. Grilled bananas on the side if you wish

Grilled Portobello Mushrooms and oven roasted tomatoes.
