WHITE WINE

Ngatarawa Silks Chardonnay  $39 bottle, $7 glass A contemporary Chardonnay that shows excellent ripe fruit and subtle oak. Luscious and full-bodied, the palate is redolent of ripe peaches and citrus complemented by subtle spicy oak. Enjoy with contemporary seafood, chicken or Asian inspired flavours

Forrest Estate Sauvignon Blanc 2006  $39 A classic Forrest Estate Marlborough Sauvignon from some of the Wairau River Valley’s stoniest sites. Aromatic, as always.

Himmelsfeld Moutere Chardonnay 2002  $39 An impressive, concentrated and vibrant chardonnay, creamy peach and citrus flavours, together with nutty, mealy complexities

Saint Clair Marlborough Pioneer Block

Sauvignon Blanc 2007 $39

“Saint Clair Pioneer Block wines are made from small parcels of outstanding fruit identified by our winemaker where the terroir - vineyard soils, climateand vineyard location -sets these wines apart withtheterroirproviding unique flavours and textures to each of the wines. The 43 Degree vineyard is planted with vineyard rows running in an unusual angle of 43 degrees North East to South West. This results in more shade to the southerly aspect of each row thereby producing a slightly more herbaceous Sauvignon Blanc than other sites in Marlborough.”

Forrest Estate ‘The Doctors’ Reisling 2006 $39

Our prescription for the good of your mind! Made in the German ‘Kabinett’ style with only 8.5% alcohol.  A truly delightful wine, with a touch of sweetness balanced by fine acidity.

Forrest Estate Late Harvest Riesling 2005(375ML) $25

An “Auslese style” Late Harvest at 8.5% alcohol. Delicate apricot, orange peel and tangelo flavours, with a perfect balance of sweetness (97g/l residual sugar) and fresh tense acidity. Perfect before or after a meal. ( this counts as one bottle included in the dinner tariff.)

Forrest Estate Marlborough Chenin Blanc 2007 $39

This wine is classically Loire in style with the clear intense fruit flavours typical of Marlborough. Think crisp Granny Smiths with that waxy skin, apply taste and refreshing acidity-mouthwatering and delightful

Forrest Estate Pinot Gris 2007 $39
